Spiros Tassis is, since March 2024, Partner and Head of the TMT, Data Protection & Privacy practices at POTAMITISVEKRIS Law Firm (www.potamitisvekris.com), covering Data Compliance, Cybersecurity, AI and Emerging Technologies and Privacy!
Previously was the founder of Tassis & Associates Law Office in Athens Greece, and the Managing Partner of the Greek Office of ICT Legal Consulting (ICTLC). Together with his team of specialists, Spiros is running data management and compliance projects for major entities and organisations. Other key points of his career are: Head Corporate Legal Adviser to Cosmoline S.A., Corporate Legal Adviser in Vodafone Greece and Senior Associate for a big ticket law firm in Athens.
In 2009 he was one of the key consultants of the Ministry of Communications in drafting a new law on national fiber optics networks (Ftth), in 2018 he advised the same ministry on NIS Directive implementation and currently is a member of the AI in Justice committee.
